Guernica

Working with a Year 5 class they created a ceramic tile mural, based on Picasso's Guernica. The pupils were introduced to the painting in its historical context. In pairs, students produced a section of the piece in clay. Their tiles were fired, painted and glazed and reconstructed into a

dynamic mural.
